August 29, 2025
This Q&A series highlights the people behind the project sharing their career paths, insights, and the values that shape their work. Set within Steger Bizzell’s collaborative and purpose-driven environment, it offers perspectives on work-life balance, professional growth, and the shared commitment to making a meaningful impact.
In this edition, we spoke with Nevil Vora, Graduate Engineer, who shares his perspective on choosing Steger Bizzell as the place to launch his career, the goals he is working toward, and the values that guide his growth as an engineer.
What made you decide to join Steger Bizzell?
“I found Steger Bizzell online while looking for new career opportunities. What stood out to me was how everyone could not say enough good things about the company. Many other places I’ve interviewed did not have employees who shared that enthusiasm, so I knew this place was special. Just from the recruiting and interviewing process, I knew the culture at Steger Bizzell was one of doing quality work and helping build each other up professionally, and that’s exactly what I was looking for in a firm when I began looking for a new career path.”
What are your career goals in the short and long term?
“I’d like to get my PE of course, get more project management experience, and try to touch on all the different projects we tackle at Steger Bizzell. I’d like to get to a more senior role and help new talent to develop and oversee projects.”
How do you hope to grow through mentorship and project experience?
“I hope to get a better understanding of the project management side and a deeper understanding of more senior responsibilities. I’d like to continue to develop my skills in land development, but would like to learn my way around in the utility projects as well here at Steger Bizzell. I like a collaborative environment where asking questions is encouraged and feedback is treated as a learning opportunity.”
What values will guide you as you build your career?
“The value of always being a student and always learning and growing.”
