Joe Carothers

Joe joined the firm as a Professional Engineer in August 2025. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining the firm, Joe spent the first 9 years of his career working on a variety of water and wastewater projects in South Florida.

With experience in water distribution system and wastewater collection system modeling and design, large diameter pipeline design, plant site and stormwater design, and pump station and gravity sewer system rehabilitation, he has a wide range of project knowledge.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, working in his yard/garden, traveling, and experiencing new restaurants and breweries.
