Charles Steger founded the engineering firm in Georgetown, Texas in 1972 as Charles H. Steger & Associates. In 1974, the name was changed to Steger & Bizzell Engineering when Don Bizzell joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Steger has led the firm’s utility design business, specializing in water treatment and distribution, and in wastewater treatment and collection systems.

Prior to 1974, Mr. Steger was a project engineer at Texas Utilities in Dallas, Texas, and project manager for Olin Corporation in Darien, Connecticut.
